Such expense\nshall include only the reasonable and proper lodgings, meals and travel expenses of\nthe commissioner and the commissioner's examiners and assistants, including\nexpert assistance, reasonable compensation as to such examiners and assistants and\nincidental expense as necessarily incurred in the examination. As to expense and\ncompensation involved in any such examination the commissioner may give due\nconsideration to scales and limitations recommended by the National Association of\nInsurance Commissioners and outlined in the examination manual sponsored by that\nassociation.\n(2) Such person examined shall promptly pay to the commissioner the expenses of the\nexamination upon presentation by the commissioner of a reasonably detailed written\nstatement thereof.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16680","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:37Z","sha256":"48b9ee2fb311d15b0b74c1d2c095a558b2ce6b5fd77e80d1a1af6b03ef4c7054","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.2-280","next":"us-ky/krs-304.2-300"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
