{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.27-160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.27-160","heading":"Determining financial condition.","body":"In determining the financial condition of a reciprocal insurer the commissioner shall\napply the following rules:\n(1) The commissioner shall charge as liabilities the same reserves as are required of\nincorporated insurers issuing nonassessable policies on a reserve basis;\n(2) The surplus deposits of subscribers shall be allowed as assets, except that any\npremium deposit delinquent for ninety (90) days shall first be charged against such\nsurplus deposit;\n(3) The surplus deposits of subscribers shall not be charged as a liability;\n(4) All premium deposits delinquent less than ninety (90) days shall be allowed as\nassets;\n(5) An assessment levied upon subscribers, and not collected shall be allowed as assets;\n(6) The contingent liability of subscribers shall not be allowed as an asset; and\n(7) The computation of reserves shall be based upon premium deposits other than\nmembership fees and without any deduction for the compensation of the attorney.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29624","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:52Z","sha256":"3e1adbf3877f3224f855475abe768bfff983f67769d099fb1cb5e31cb5b7d85f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.27-150","next":"us-ky/krs-304.27-170"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
