If\nit appears that all the statements made are true and that the rights of the\npolicyholders will be protected thereunder, and that the insurer is otherwise\nqualified therefor,  the commissioner shall issue a certificate of authority to the\nunderwriters under the name chosen and approved, authorizing them to transact the\nbusiness of insurance as specified in the application.\n(2) Prior to the issuance of an original certificate of  authority, a Lloyd's organization\nshall submit to examination of its affairs, by the commissioner, or, if acceptable to\nthe commissioner, shall file with the commissioner a certified copy of an\nexamination of its affairs made within two (2) years by the p roper supervising\nofficial of some other state.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29640","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:52Z","sha256":"f6d921bd08f8f429b06432c339e43213b2317103692cc447351f8a0fde693014","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.28-030","next":"us-ky/krs-304.28-050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
