{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.3-550","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.3-550","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) If the commissioner finds that any person has violated any provision of KRS 304.3 -\n500 to 304.3-570 or KRS 304.9-440, the commissioner may order:\n(a) For each separate violation, a civil penalty in the amounts set forth in KRS\n304.99-020;\n(b) Conditions upon, or revocation, or suspension of a license;\n(c) The controlling agent to reimburse the insurer, the rehabilitator, or the\nliquidator of the insurer for any losses incurred by the insurer caused by a\nviolation of KRS 304.3-500 to 304.3-570 or KRS 304.9-440 committed by the\ncontrolling agent; or\n(d) Any combination of paragraphs (a), (b), or (c) of this subsection.\n(2) Appeals from orders issued under subsection (1) of this section shall be taken as\nprovided in Subtitle 2 of this chapter.\n(3) Nothing contai ned in this section shall affect the right of the commissioner to\nimpose any other penalties or corrective action provided for under laws\nadministered by the commissioner.\n(4) Nothing contained in KRS 304.3 -500 to 304.3 -570 is intended to or shall in any\nmanner limit or restrict the rights of policyholders, claimants, and auditors.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16745","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:37Z","sha256":"bf55605a3af10448b8deed12ef04d8b5f4f6489a90c542aef51c70a2b33890d6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.3-540","next":"us-ky/krs-304.3-560"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
