{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.30-010","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.30-010","heading":"Application.","body":"The provisions of this subtitle shall not apply with respect to:\n(1) Any insurer licensed to do business in this state;\n(2) Any banking institution, trust, loan, mortgage, safe deposit company, or title\ninsurer, building association, credit union, moneylen ders, or common trust fund\nauthorized to do business in this state;\n(3) The inclusion of a charge for insurance in connection with an installment sale of a\nmotor vehicle made in accordance with KRS Chapter 190; and\n(4) The inclusion of a late charge not to  exceed eighteen percent (18%) per annum on\ninsurance premium accounts held by any agent once those accounts remain unpaid\nfor a period of thirty (30) days beyond the date that the original premium was due\nand owing.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29745","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:53Z","sha256":"dcaf95d74e40f361c6203bc68686fa3bd4bce180ab6b45fee48e9df08a6c2bd2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.3-768","next":"us-ky/krs-304.30-020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
