{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.30-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.30-030","heading":"Licenses.","body":"(1) No person shall engage in the business of financing insurance premiums in this state\nwithout first having obtained a license as a premium finance company from the\ncommissioner.\n(2) The annual license fee shall be as specified in Subtitle 4 of this chapter.  Licenses\nmay be renewed from year to year as of the first day of May of each year upon\npayment of the fee.\n(3) The person to whom the license or the renewal thereof may be issued shall file\nsworn answers, subject to the penalties of perjury, to such inter rogatories as the\ncommissioner may require. The commissioner shall have authority, at any time, to\nrequire the applicant fully to disclose the identity of all stockholders, partners,\nofficers, and employees and he or she may, in his or her discretion, refu se to issue\nor renew a license in the name of any firm, partnership, or corporation if the\ncommissioner is not satisfied that any officer, employee, stockholder, or partner\nthereof who may materially influence the applicant's conduct meets the standards of\nthis subtitle.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29747","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:53Z","sha256":"caaf5a4aff34ca26c18f6ac835d8b4f4c8300d18a7c2b9ea0a09608580869493","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.30-020","next":"us-ky/krs-304.30-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
