{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.32-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.32-030","heading":"Application of subtitle.","body":"(1) Any nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of this state for the purpose of\nestablishing, maintaining, and operating a nonprofit plan, whereby hospital care,\nmedical-surgical care, dental care, and other health services are made available to\npersons who become subscribers to such plan or plans under a contract with the\ncorporation, shall be subject to and be governed by the provisions of this subtitle,\nand shall be exempt from all other provisions of this code, except as expressly\nprovided in this s ubtitle, and no insurance law hereafter enacted shall be deemed to\napply to these corporations unless they be specifically referred to therein.\n(2) Except as provided in KRS 304.32-300 to 304.32-320, the provisions of this subtitle\nshall not apply to any e mployer's self-insured health plan or service established and\nmaintained solely for its members and their immediate families, or to any self -\ninsured health plan or service established, maintained, and insured jointly by any\nemployer and any labor organization or organizations.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29760","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:53Z","sha256":"b33ad1cdce2e4a7e186d990bf91fd00c0a66ad78f6564432fa61741591327aed","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.32-020","next":"us-ky/krs-304.32-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
