{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.32-1585","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.32-1585","heading":"Coverage for treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders or","body":"craniomandibular jaw disorders.\n(1) All policies, contracts, or plans issued in this state, including subscription or\nmembership certificates thereunder, which provide for surgical or nonsurgical\ntreatment of skeletal disorders shall provide coverage for medically necessary\nprocedures relating to temporomandibular joint disorders and craniomandibular jaw\ndisorders.\n(2) The requirements of this section shall apply to all policies issued,  delivered, or\nrenewed in this state on or after January 1, 1991.\n(3) This section does not require a health insurance policy to provide dental services if\ndental services are not otherwise scheduled or provided as a part of policy benefits.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29787","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:54Z","sha256":"4c609d7abb9b1274135e7f7abb3583a5b06cf5808aca476f4fe55a3d06fc77af","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.32-158","next":"us-ky/krs-304.32-159"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
