Any\nemployer doing business in this state who implements for his or her employees on a self -\ninsured basis a plan for providing hospital or surgical benefits shall notify the Department\nof Insurance not less than thirty (30) days prior to implementing such plan, and shall\ninclude in the notice the name of any outside third -party administrator. Any change in\nthird-party administrators shall be reported to the Department of Insurance within thirty\n(30) days of the change.
