{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.35-010","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.35-010","heading":"Definitions -- Organization of FAIR plan and reinsurance association.","body":"(1) As used in this subtitle:\n(a) \"Casualty insurance\" has the meaning set forth in KRS 304.5-070; and\n(b) \"Property insurance\" has the meaning set forth in KRS 304.5-050.\n(2) All insurers licensed to write property or casualty insurance in this Commonweal th\non a direct basis shall, subject to approval and regulation by the commissioner of\ninsurance, establish and maintain a \"FAIR\" (fair access to insurance requirements)\nplan and establish and maintain a reinsurance association and formulate and from\ntime to time amend the plan and articles of association and rules and regulations in\nconnection therewith, and assess and share on a fair and equitable basis all\nexpenses, income, and losses incident to such \"FAIR\" plan and reinsurance\nassociation in a manner consistent with the provisions of this subtitle.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29900","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:55Z","sha256":"c89d0c2a855e510ed950a282c02727dcccceeb65fb420456e6d0fc18aff2884a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.348","next":"us-ky/krs-304.35-020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
