The plan and association created pursuant to KRS\n304.35-010 to 304.35-050 shall become the successors to the plan and association created\npursuant to Chapter 65 of the 1972 Acts or Chapter 359 of the 1980 Acts, and shall\nassume all assets and liabilities thereof existing on July 15, 1986, and shall hold all such\nsurplus assets, after the payment of all such liabilities, as a security fund for the payment\nof loss to insured risks or expense of operating said plan and association until either said\nsecurity fund is exhausted or the plan and association of any lawful successor thereto is\ndissolved.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29905","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:55Z","sha256":"3362e97886a48d156770f91bab46ae8088fa0d6f4f5022ba7e4813e3064bd6f4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.35-050","next":"us-ky/krs-304.35-070"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
