{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.38-180","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.38-180","heading":"Prohibited practices.","body":"(1) No health maintenance organization, or representative thereof, may cause or\nknowingly permit the use of advertising or solicitation which is untrue or\nmisleading, or any form of evidence of coverage which is deceptive.\n(2) No health maintenance organizatio n shall cancel an enrollee's coverage, except for\nthe failure to pay the charge for such coverage, or for such other reasons as may be\npromulgated in regulations issued by the commissioner.\n(3) Subtitle 12 of this chapter shall be construed to apply to hea lth maintenance\norganizations and evidences of coverage, except to the extent that the commissioner\ndetermines that the nature of health maintenance organizations and evidence of\ncoverage under such sections is clearly inappropriate.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29986","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:56Z","sha256":"f052c0960f4150c47c81c759a08e3710c1f915fcf3e8097153e2608bb4cea975","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.38-170","next":"us-ky/krs-304.38-185"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
