{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.38-1937","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.38-1937","heading":"Coverage for treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and","body":"craniomandibular jaw disorders.\n(1) All contracts, agreements, certificates, or other comparable documents of health\ncare services provided which provide coverage for surgical or nonsurgical treatment\nof skeletal disorders shall provide coverage for medically necessary procedures\nrelating to temporomandibular joint disorders and craniomandibular jaw disorders.\n(2) The requirements of this section shall apply to all policies issued, del ivered, or\nrenewed in this state on or after January 1, 1991.\n(3) Nothing in this section shall require a health insurance policy to provide dental\nservices if dental services are not otherwise scheduled or provided as a part of\npolicy benefits.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29996","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:56Z","sha256":"8b2b2237f6c8e2dd42d095eea9ac00f3eabdf76cf1f6622166ec2a0144e33d64","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.38-1936","next":"us-ky/krs-304.38-194"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
