{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.38-198","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.38-198","heading":"Optional nursery care coverage for a well newly born child.","body":"(1) Any group policy, group plan, or group contract issued in this state by a health\nmaintenance organization which provides maternity benefits shall offer the master\npolicyholder the option to purchase coverage to pay for routine nursery care for a\nwell newly born child for up to five (5) full days in a hospital nursery.\n(2) The coverage for the well newly born child shall pay the hospital charges for each\nday in the hospital nursery.\n(3) The requirements of this section shall apply to all policies, plans, or contracts issued\nby a health maintenance organization in effect on October 1, 1980, and those\npolicies, plans or contracts issued thereafter.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30002","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:56Z","sha256":"38502fe5e65ff0f42f639b2084008cdc4e95afee0103584e3ae00c43cf3ed04d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.38-197","next":"us-ky/krs-304.38-199"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
