{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.39-085","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.39-085","heading":"Notification by insurer to Department of Vehicle Regulation of persons","body":"insured whose policy was terminated -- Exception.\n(1) As used in this section, the following have the same meaning as in KRS 186A.040:\n(a) \"Commercial motor vehicle\";\n(b) \"Commercial motor vehicle insurance\"; and\n(c) \"Insurer.\"\n(2) Every insurer that does not provide access to insurance status information for\ncommercial motor vehicles as specified by the Department of Vehicle Regulation\nunder KRS 186A.040 shall, within o ne (1) calendar week following the end of its\naccounting month, send to the Department of Vehicle Regulation a list of all\npersons insured by it whose commercial motor vehicle insurance was terminated by\neither cancellation or nonrenewal during such accoun ting month, except those\npersons whose nonrenewal was at the end of a policy with a term of six (6) months\nor longer and who failed to make a payment for the renewal of the policy.
