{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.41-070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.41-070","heading":"Applications for, and issuance of, legal professional liability insurance","body":"coverage.\n(1) Any attorney-at-law shall, on or after the effective date of the plan of operation, be\nentitled to apply to the association for legal professional liability ins urance\ncoverage.  Such application may be made on behalf of an applicant by an agent\nauthorized by the applicant.\n(2) If the association determines that the applicant meets the underwriting standards of\nthe association as prescribed in the plan of operatio n and there is no unpaid,\nuncontested premium due from the applicant for prior insurance, then the\nassociation, upon receipt of the premium or such portion thereof as is prescribed in\nthe plan of operation, shall cause to be issued a policy of legal profes sional liability\ninsurance.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30097","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:58Z","sha256":"f69b85c5a3a538d4a620b233bcaa6f09bc76b4eb023f3af2bf82dcae3e5c872b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.41-060","next":"us-ky/krs-304.41-080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
