{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.50-025","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.50-025","heading":"Certification by commissioner required to issue binder or certificate of","body":"insurance for workers' compensation coverage -- Certificates of filing issued by\nDepartment of Workers' Claims remain in effect unless revoked or suspended.\n(1) Except for an activity arising in the creation of a workers' compensation self-insured\ngroup, a person or entity shall not issue a binder or certificate of insurance for\nworkers' compensation coverage unless the workers' compensation self -insured\ngroup has been certified to do so by the commissioner. A certification issued by the\ncommissioner shall remain in effect until revoked or modified by the commissioner\nin accordance with KRS 304.50-140.\n(2) All certificates of filing issued by the commissioner of the Department o f Workers'\nClaims prior to March 1, 2005, shall remain in full force and effect, unless revoked\nor suspended by the commissioner in accordance with KRS 304.50 -140.
