{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.50-130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.50-130","heading":"Members to receive evidences of coverage -- Contents.","body":"(1) Each member of a workers' compensation self -insured group shall receive written\nevidence of coverage by the group.\n(2) All evidences of coverage issued pursuant to this section shall contain coverage\nterms, conditions, and exclusions.\n(3) All evidences of coverage issued pursuant to this section by a self -insured group\nshall contain the following disclosure in prominent contrasting type: THIS\nCOVERAGE HAS BEEN PLACED WITH A WORKERS' COMPENSATION\nSELF-INSURED GROUP WHICH IS REGULATED BY THE KENTUCKY\nDEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE AND HAS RECEIVED A CERTIFICATE OF\nFILING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY. CLAIMS AGAINST\nGROUP MEMBERS ARE COVERED BY THE SELF -INSURED GROUP\nINSURANCE GUARANTY ASSOCIATION, BUT ARE NOT COVERED BY\nTHE KENTUCKY INSURANCE GUARANTY ASSOCIATIO N. GROUP\nMEMBERS SHALL BE ASSESSED IN THE EVENT OF INSOLVENCY OF\nTHE WORKERS' COMPENSATION SELF-INSURED GROUP.\n(4) All evidences of coverage issued pursuant to this section by a workers'\ncompensation self-insured group formed by governmental entities which  have joint\nand several liability shall contain the following disclosure in prominent contrasting\ntype: THIS COVERAGE HAS BEEN PLACED WITH A WORKERS'\nCOMPENSATION SELF -INSURED GROUP WHICH HAS RECEIVED A\nCERTIFICATE OF FILING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUC KY.\nCLAIMS AGAINST GROUP MEMBERS ARE NOT COVERED BY THE\nKENTUCKY INSURANCE GUARANTY ASSOCIATION.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30270","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:00Z","sha256":"0c8427090e027b938bf32e74cba1de8a330daa06386c710b4f8951929f131a04","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.50-125","next":"us-ky/krs-304.50-135"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
