{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.50-150","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.50-150","heading":"Unfair business practices prohibited -- Responses to inquiries from","body":"commissioner within 15 days.\n(1) A person shall not:\n(a) Make any deceptive statement or omit material facts in connection with\nsolicitation for membership in a workers' compensation self-insured group; or\n(b) Guarantee the payment of dividends or use statements or words in, or in\nconnection with, any coverage which imply that the payment of dividends is\nguaranteed to occur.\n(2) A workers' compensation self -insured group shall not e ngage in unfair business\npractices as defined by KRS Chapter 342, and shall:\n(a) Respond to an inquiry from the commissioner on matters other than workers'\ncompensation claims within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of such\ninquiry; and\n(b) Respond to an inquiry from the commissioner of the Department of Workers'\nClaims on matters concerning workers' compensation claims within fifteen\n(15) working days of receipt of such inquiry.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30274","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:00Z","sha256":"fd69bbc029d425bd036d330769331b9fa078d5da08e9620d4ac5d88229236a44","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.50-145","next":"us-ky/krs-304.50-155"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
