{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.8-095","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.8-095","heading":"Deposits under trust agreement -- Insurer relieved of liability.","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the commissioner may cause any or all\ndeposits of assets of insurers required or permitted under this code and maintained in this\nstate to be made and maintained in trust with depositories designated pursuant to KRS\n304.8-090(1) under trust agreements to which depositories, insurers, and the\ncommissioner are parties, for the purpose of this subtitle. These trust agreements shall\nprovide with respect to deposits thereunder provisions, conditions and stipulations\ncorresponding to those applicable to other deposits under this subtitle and shall require\ndepositories to perform the same duties with respect to deposits thereunder as the\ncommissioner is required to perform with respect to other deposits under the subtitle .\nInsurers who have made deposits under these trust agreements shall be relieved of all\nother obligations under this subtitle with respect to the assets deposited thereunder.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16873","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:39Z","sha256":"bc9657278dacf20d05c72f4f0b6b6e9ef8cfaad430d62124aa22e5df0366cfb9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.8-090","next":"us-ky/krs-304.8-100"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
