{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.8-120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.8-120","heading":"Valuation -- Replenishment.","body":"(1) All assets deposited shall be valued by the commissioner when deposited, such\nvaluation to be determined in accordance with the applicable provisions of this\ncode.\n(2) If at any time the commissioner finds that the value of assets on deposit by an\ninsurer is less than the amount required for the purposes for which the deposit was\nmade, the commissioner shall by certified mail, return receipt requested, addressed\nto the insurer at its home office, notify the insurer of such deficiency and require\nthat the de ficiency be cured within thirty (30) days from the date of such mailing.\nThe commissioner may suspend or revoke the certificate of authority of any insurer\nfailing to cure any such deficiency within such thirty (30) days.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16876","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:39Z","sha256":"fc6a3ec463ad120f66150c93d07b8a7e01fe00063919cd21076f5c0745690523","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.8-110","next":"us-ky/krs-304.8-130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
