{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.9-160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.9-160","heading":"Examination for license -- Application for examination.","body":"(1) An individual applying for any license under this subtitle requiring an examination\nshall pass a written examination unless exempt under KRS 304.9 -170.\nExaminations required by this section shall be developed and conducted in\naccordance with administrative regulations promulgated by the commissioner.\n(2) The commissioner may make arrangements, including contracting with an outside\ntesting service, for administering examinations and collecting the nonrefundable fee\nset forth in KRS 304.4-010.\n(3) Each indivi dual applying for an examination shall remit a nonrefundable fee as\nprescribed by the commissioner as set forth in KRS 304.4-010.\n(4) An individual who fails to appear for the examination as scheduled or fails to pass\nthe examination, shall reapply for an examination and remit all required fees and\nforms before being rescheduled for another examination.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16909","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:40Z","sha256":"e737ac8a7d1db5cdbd5bc4f3d49562ac8aaf22e664fdf08099cff132d77d15e3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.9-150","next":"us-ky/krs-304.9-170"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
