{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.9-180","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.9-180","heading":"Scope of examination -- Reference material.","body":"(1) The examination shall test the knowledge or relevant skills and abilities of the\nindividual concerning the lines of authority for which application is made, the\nduties and responsibilities of a licensee, and the pertinent insurance laws and\nadministrative regulations of this state.\n(2) The commissioner shall make available to applicants for license, printed\ninformation as to the general scope of, and principal subjects to be covered by, the\nexamination for a particular license, together with information as to published\nbooks and other reference sources which may be studied by the applicant to prepare\nfor the examination; but the commissioner shall not furnish lists of examination\nquestions and examination questions shall not be selected from lists known to t he\ncommissioner to have been furnished applicants.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16911","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:40Z","sha256":"8f84bf489e8b4c9fc8338b35cf43b3d0a0dc0f594e7e72d6b748274867111e81","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.9-170","next":"us-ky/krs-304.9-190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
