{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.9-310","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.9-310","heading":"Temporary licenses -- Rights and limitations.","body":"(1) The temporary license may cover only the same kinds of insurance for which the\nagent thereby being replaced was licensed.\n(2) The temporary licensee may represent under the license all insurers last represented\nby the replaced agent, and without the necess ity of new appointments of the\nlicensee; but the licensee shall not be appointed as to any additional insurer of\nadditional kind of insurance under a temporary license. This provision shall not be\ndeemed to prohibit termination of its appointment by any insurer.\n(3) A temporary license shall have the same license powers and duties as under a\npermanent license but shall not be obtained for the sole production of controlled\nbusiness as defined in KRS 304.9-100, and no sale of insurance of any kind shall be\nmade upon the licensee's own life or the lives of any relative by blood or marriage.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16925","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:40Z","sha256":"6c2f9bbaf31e54f72c4c4d4966ef31d869a50ce3432067dbec72726a2fd1ae1a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.9-300","next":"us-ky/krs-304.9-320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
