{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.9-782","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.9-782","heading":"Conditions under which license authorizes employee or representative to","body":"sell portable electronics insurance -- Restrictions on licensees.\n(1) A portable electronics insurance retailer license issued to a business entity under\nKRS 304.9 -780 shall a uthorize an employee or authorized representative of the\nbusiness entity licensee to offer and disseminate portable electronics insurance\nwithout being licensed, registered, or otherwise individually identified, if all of the\nfollowing are true:\n(a) The em ployee, representative, or managing employee operates with\npermission from the business entity licensee;\n(b) The business entity licensee assumes responsibility for the insurance activities\nof its unlicensed employees, authorized representatives, or managi ng\nemployees;\n(c) The employee or authorized representative operates under the supervision of a\nportable electronics insurance supervising entity who shall be available for\nconsultation for and adequate supervision of the sale, solicitation, or\nnegotiation of portable electronics insurance. However, a portable electronics\ninsurance supervising entity need not be present where portable electronics\ninsurance is offered and disseminated; and\n(d) The employee or authorized representative is not primarily compensated based\non the amount of insurance sold by the employee or representative.
