{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-30a.060","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 30A.060","heading":"Clerk to prepare bonds and to refuse insufficient surety -- Authorization","body":"for preparation and acceptance of bail bonds by other public officers or\nemployees.\n(1) Each clerk shall prepare in a proper manner every bond to be taken by or given\nbefore him or his court.\n(2) The clerk shall refuse any surety offered in a bond to be taken by him who is, in his\nopinion, insufficient.\n(3) The clerk shall prepare bail bonds as required by subsection (1) of this section;\nhowever, additional public officials and t heir employees shall be authorized by rule\nor order of the Chief Circuit Judge to prepare and accept bail bonds to be taken by\nthe clerk or for his court.
