{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-30a.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 30A.080","heading":"Maintenance of records -- Removal from county -- Transfer by rule or","body":"order of Supreme Court.\n(1) Every clerk shall maintain all records, files, dockets, and indexes as are prescribed\nby statute or rule.\n(2) All necessary record books and all necessary  supplies required by the clerk's office\nshall be procured through the Administrative Office of the Courts and paid for by\nthe Court of Justice.\n(3) No clerk shall permit the records or papers of his office to be taken out of his office\nexcept in case of i nvasion or insurrection, or other catastrophe, or pursuant to rule\nor order of court, and then he shall cause them to be returned as soon as the\nnecessity for the removal ceases to exist.\n(4) Records may be permanently transferred from the clerk's office b y rule or order of\nthe Supreme Court.","path":["KRS Chapter 30A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=21183","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:50Z","sha256":"a1522a3482809a4f93b6af38abb61f58a96762a39c682d0f368b38200b5b1229","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-30a.070","next":"us-ky/krs-30a.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
