{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-310.021","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 310.021","heading":"Licensure as a dietitian.","body":"(1) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall file a written application on forms\nprovided by the board.\n(2) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall meet the standards of professional\nresponsibility and practice consistent with those standards of  professional\nresponsibility and practice adopted by the American Dietetic Association.\n(3) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall be a graduate of a baccalaureate or\npost-baccalaureate degree program, approved by the board, from a United States\nregionally-accredited college or university with a major course of study in human\nnutrition, food and nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or an equivalent\nmajor course of study.\n(4) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall have successfull y completed a\ndocumented supervised practice experience under the supervision of a registered\ndietitian who is accredited by the American Dietetic Association.\n(5) An applicant for licensure as a dietitian shall have passed the national examination\nadministered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.","path":["KRS Chapter 310"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30382","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:02Z","sha256":"bfc575b9df22301718fe66592ee0aeced8c9ce334412d77b08b7e7ac24548358","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-310.020","next":"us-ky/krs-310.030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
