{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-310.031","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 310.031","heading":"Certification as a nutritionist.","body":"(1) An applicant for certification as a nutritionist shall file a written application on\nforms provided by the board.\n(2) An applicant for certification as a nutritionist shall:\n(a) Be a graduate of a baccalaureate degree program, approved by the board, from\na United States regionally-accredited college or university; and\n(b) Be a graduate of a master's degree program, approved by the board, in food\nscience, nutrition, or a closely related area to food science or nutrition, and\nhave a minimum of twelve (12) sem ester hours of graduate credit in human\nnutrition from a United States regionally-accredited college or university, or\n(3) Be qualified for licensure as a licensed dietitian under the provisions of KRS\n310.021 and apply to the board for certification as a certified nutritionist.","path":["KRS Chapter 310"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30384","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:02Z","sha256":"7b45582eb5044326e50f01f62bf17969ae3ca35d34f09b0c3279c603c1df985a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-310.030","next":"us-ky/krs-310.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
