{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-310.050","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 310.050","heading":"Fees -- Annual renewal -- Automatic revocation for nonrenewal --","body":"Reinstatement -- Exceptions.\n(1) The board, by duly promulgated administrative regulation, shall establish fees for\nthe application, reinstatement, and renewal of a license or c ertificate, fees for\nreciprocal and duplicate licensure or certification, and for any other fees assessed by\nthe board.\n(2) A license or certificate shall be renewed annually and only upon timely payment of\nthe renewal fee and documented successful complet ion of continuing education as\nrequired by the board.\n(3) A licensee or certificate holder who fails to renew his or her license or certificate\nwithin sixty (60) days after renewal becomes due shall have the license or certificate\nautomatically revoked without further notice or hearing. Any person whose license\nor certificate is automatically revoked as provided in this subsection may have the\nlicense or certificate reinstated by the board in its discretion upon payment of all\npast-due renewal fees and a reinstatement fee.\n(4) Subsections (2) and (3) of this section shall not apply if the board has granted the\nlicense or certificate holder a special license or certificate status under KRS\n310.041(9) or (10).","path":["KRS Chapter 310"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52709","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:02Z","sha256":"61092ea2e9070474018c5f5eb7c9350d364d8dc6254d0e66630dd11c3fc64bb0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-310.042","next":"us-ky/krs-310.060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
