{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.490","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.490","heading":"Hearing to revoke, suspend, probate, or refuse to renew license -- Violation","body":"may be enjoined -- Enforcement -- Appeal.\n(1) A suspension, probation, or revocation of a license, or a refusal to renew a license,\nmay be made or a fine imposed by the board only after a hearing which shall be\nconducted in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(2) The board may institute, in its own name, proceedings to temporarily or\npermanently restrain and enjoin violations of KRS 311.380 to 311.500, regardless\nof whether the defendant has been convicted for violations of the penal provisions\nthereof, and shall not be required to pay any cost or filing fees or furnish any bond\nin connection therewith. Violations of injunctions and restraining orders shall be\npunished as a contempt without the intervention of a jury.\n(3) A licensee whose license has been revoked, probated, or suspended, or against\nwhom a fine has been imposed by the board, or who has been refused a renewal\nlicense, may appeal a final order of the board to  the Circuit Court of the county in\nwhich the hearing was held.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57547","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:04Z","sha256":"27f7d0071cb9bf9df636fd51eff84155954df16576be1c4941f8548fe6e132c8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.480","next":"us-ky/krs-311.495"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
