{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.495","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.495","heading":"County and Commonwealth's attorneys to prosecute violations -- Powers","body":"of investigators and others.\n(1) County and Commonwealth's attorneys and the Attorney General, within their\nrespective jurisdictions, shall prosecute all violations of the penal provisions of\nKRS 311.380 to 311.500 and shall, when requested by the board, represent the\nboard in matters relating to the enforcement of KRS 311.380 to 311.500.\n(2) For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of KRS 311.380 to 311.500, the\ninvestigators, inspectors, representatives and agents of the board shall have the full\npower and authority of peace officers in this state, and shall have the power and\nauthority to administer oaths, to enter upon premises at all times for the purpose of\nmaking inspections, to seize evidence, to interrogate all persons, and to require the\nproduction of books, papers, documents or other evidence.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57548","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:04Z","sha256":"bc6773793b7f590955a238eb08489391e1c4d612afbe0f71986f2b64406d3a1f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.490","next":"us-ky/krs-311.500"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
