{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.593","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.593","heading":"Judicial review of orders of board.","body":"(1) Except for final orders denying an application or reregistration for licensure or\nemergency orders temporarily suspending, limiting, or restricting a physician's\nlicense, all final orders of the board affecting a physician's license shall become\neffective thirty (30) days after notice is given to the licensee unless otherwise\nagreed; however, the board may provide that a final order be effective immediately\nwhen, in the board's opinion, based upon sufficient reasonable cause, the health,\nwelfare, and safety  of the physician's patients or the general public would be\nendangered by delay.\n(2) Any physician who is aggrieved by a final order of the board denying a license or\nrendering disciplinary action against a licensee may seek judicial review of the\norder by filing a petition with the Circuit Court of the county in which the board's\noffices are located in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(3) The court shall not award injunctive relief against the board without providing the\nboard with the reasonable opportunity to be heard.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30534","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:04Z","sha256":"770cf475972e5680cd624e9dcb6091c969593fc9f8f00f180c690ae7c2c7580b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.592","next":"us-ky/krs-311.594"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
