{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.6202","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.6202","heading":"Receipt of primary care services under  direct primary care","body":"membership  agreement.\n(1) Receiving primary care services under a direct primary care membership\nagreement  shall not require a patient or his or her legal guardian to forfeit\ncoverage under a health benefit plan.\n(2) The  offer or provision of primary care services under a direct primary care\nmembership  agreement shall not be deemed  an offer or provision of coverage\nunder a health benefit plan and shall not be regulated under KRS Chapter 304.\n(3) A primary care provider shall not be required to obtain a license to market, sell,\nor offer to sell a direct primary care membership agreement.\n(4) All services provided pursuant to this section shall be consistent with this\nchapter for physicians.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=45769","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:05Z","sha256":"ba623b610e510fcdbac0c4d3a25cfe9fd4285502741e60439ec874127ce0442e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.6201","next":"us-ky/krs-311.6204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
