{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.6205","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.6205","heading":"Physician wellness program -- Participation -- Disclosure.","body":"(1) A physician who participates in a physician wellness program shall not be required\nto disclose such participation to any health care facility, hospital, medical staff,\nhealth insurer, government agency, or other entity that requests such information as\na condition of participation, employment, credentialing, payment, licensure,\ncompliance, or other requirement.\n(2) A physician shall not be required to report information to any hea lth care facility,\nhospital, medical staff, health insurer, government agency, or other entity regarding\nanother physician who is a participant in a physician wellness program.\n(3) The failure to disclose or report information relating to the participation  by a\nphysician in a physician wellness program shall not be grounds for suspension,\nremoval, termination of employment or contract, or any other adverse action by a\nhealth care facility, hospital, medical staff, health insurer, government agency, or\nother entity.\n(4) The obligation to disclose or report the information relating to the participation by a\nphysician in a physician wellness program shall not be a condition of participation,\nemployment, credentialing, licensure, compliance, or other requirement  by a health\ncare facility, hospital, medical staff, health insurer, government agency, or other\nentity.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53634","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:05Z","sha256":"7d9608542b3b2a4b4c59249446becd6dbe4973430e006e1995633b3babef21fb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.6204","next":"us-ky/krs-311.6206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
