{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.679","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.679","heading":"Reporting and recordkeeping requirements.","body":"(1) An acupuncturist shall comply with all applicable state and municipal reporting\nrequirements imposed on health-care professionals regarding public health.\n(2) An acupuncturist shall maintain a record for each patient treated, in a manner\nconsistent with th e acceptable and prevailing standards of practice within the\nCommonwealth. At a minimum, the record for each patient shall include:\n(a) A signed copy of the information disclosed by the acupuncturist to the patient\nunder KRS 311.678;\n(b) Evidence that the acupuncturist has conducted or overseen an interview\nconcerning the patient's medical history and current physical condition;\n(c) Evidence of the acupuncturist having conducted a traditional acupuncture\nexamination;\n(d) A record of the treatment, including the acupuncture points treated; and\n(e) The evaluation and instructions given.","path":["KRS Chapter 311"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30617","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:05Z","sha256":"3925c40f6d2bcd660ec9826ccbde3f660aa6479dfc024ed269bbee1c5744b6d1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311.678","next":"us-ky/krs-311.680"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
