{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.7736","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.7736","heading":"Reports to cabinet -- Complication or adverse event.","body":"(1) Each  abortion-inducing drug as defined in KRS  311.7731 provided to a\npregnant patient by a qualified physician shall be reported to the cabinet as\nrequired by KRS 311.774.\n(2) If a qualified physician provides an abortion-inducing drug as defined in KRS\n311.7731 to a pregnant woman  for the purpose of inducing an abortion, and if\nthe qualified physician knows that the woman  who uses the abortion-inducing\ndrug for the purpose of inducing an abortion experiences, during or within\nfifteen (15) days after the use of the abortion-inducing drug, an adverse event\nas defined in KRS  311.7731, the qualified physician shall provide a written\nreport of the adverse event within three (3) days of the event to the federal\nFood and Drug Administration via the MedWatch  reporting system, the cabinet,\nand the board.\n(3) Any  physician, qualified physician, associated physician, or other healthcare\nprovider  who  diagnoses  or  knowingly  treats a  patient, either\ncontemporaneously to or at any time after a drug-induced abortion, for a\ncomplication or adverse event as defined in KRS  311.7731 related to the\ndrug-induced abortion shall make a report of the complication or adverse event\nto the cabinet on a report form provided by the cabinet. The report shall be\ncompleted and signed by the physician, qualified physician, or other healthcare\nprovider who  diagnosed or treated the complication or adverse event, and\ntransmitted to the cabinet within three (3) days after the diagnosis or treatment\nwas provided.
