{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311.7743","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311.7743","heading":"Action and  intervention by  Attorney General  -- Penalties --","body":"Extradition.\n(1) The  Attorney General may  bring an action to enforce compliance with the\nHumanity in Healthcare Act of 2022 or intervene as a matter of right in any\ncase in which the constitutionality of any section of the Act is challenged.\n(2) (a) Any  person who  intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly violates KRS\n216B.200 to 216B.210 is guilty of a Class D felony.\n(b) Any  person who violates KRS  216B.200 to 216B.210 shall be fined not\nmore than one million dollars ($1,000,000).\n(c) Notwithstanding KRS  440.200, the Attorney General may demand  from\nthe Governor of any other state the surrender of any person found in the\nother state who is charged in Kentucky with the crime of violating KRS\n216B.200  to 216B.210. The  provisions for extradition under  this\nsubsection shall apply to any such demand  even if the person whose\nsurrender is demanded  was not in Kentucky at the time of the commission\nof the crime.
