{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311a.032","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311A.032","heading":"Posting of fee schedules of licensed ambulance providers -- Report --","body":"Modification -- Penalty -- Administrative regulations.\n(1) Each licensed ambulance provider, as defined in KRS 311A.010, shall:\n(a) Post in a conspicuous area of the main office, any satellite location, and on the\ncompany Web site, if the company hosts or otherwise maintains a Web site\nitself or through contract with another party, a comprehensive fee schedule of\nall services provided that is consistent with the Healthcare Co mmon\nProcedure Coding System (HCPCS). The fee schedule shall:\n1. Clearly identify fees for services including base rates, mileage,\ndisposable supply fees, and any other potential fees for services\nprovided; and\n2. Be documented in understandable language w ith sufficient explanation\nto allow consumers to draw meaningful comparisons of fees among\nlicensed ambulance providers;\n(b) Provide a copy of this fee schedule to a beneficiary at the time of service upon\nrequest;\n(c) Update fee schedules within fifteen ( 15) calendar days of any modification;\nand\n(d) Submit a report of an initial ambulance provider fee schedule and any\nsubsequent modifications to the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical\nServices. The report shall be subject to open records requests under KR S\n61.870 to 61.884.\n(2) The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services shall:\n(a) Assess a licensed ambulance provider a monetary penalty of one hundred fifty\ndollars ($150) per occurrence for failure to post or update a modified fee\nschedule as required under subsection (1) of this section; and\n(b) Issue a statement of violation consistent with administrative regulations\npromulgated by the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services.\n(3) The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services shall promulgate\nadministrative regulations to implement the provisions of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 311A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=47718","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:07Z","sha256":"b7ca64e535719c90f11cd58feace4f5324759f107e388257f3eeae29e8f4a6c4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311a.030","next":"us-ky/krs-311a.035"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
