{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311a.035","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311A.035","heading":"Functions of chapter to be carried out by board.","body":"The board shall carry out the functions of this chapter, including but not limited to:\n(1) Establishing minimum data reporting requirements, including requirements\nspecifically related to emergency medical services and trauma care of children, for\nambulance providers and collection and analysis of data related to the provision of\nemergency medical services;\n(2) Maintaining the Emergency Medical Services for Children Program with federal\nfunds so designated plus any additional funds that may be appropriated by the\nGeneral Assembly, or any other funds that may become available to the board,\nincluding gifts, grants, or other sources;\n(3) Developing a statewide plan for the implementation of emergency medical services\nsystems within the Commonwealth of Kentucky that specifically addresses the\nunique needs of rural areas;\n(4) Applying for, receiving, and disposing of federal, state, or private funds by grant,\nappropriation, donation, or otherwise for emergency medical services programs,\npersonnel, and equipment; and\n(5) Developing, monitoring, and encouraging other projects and programs that may be\nof benefit to emergency medical services in the Commonwealth.","path":["KRS Chapter 311A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=52867","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:07Z","sha256":"3b88d55aa7d947871ba30d470fb1468aaf44dcc35e9dd28e4950239dd10d72d3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311a.032","next":"us-ky/krs-311a.040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
