{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-311a.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 311A.070","heading":"Written notice of complaint or proposed action.","body":"(1) When a complaint is filed against an ambulance service, emergency medical\nservices provider, or an emergency medical services training program or an\nemployee or volunteer thereof, or when the office of the board is contemplating\naction against an ambulance  service, emergency medical services provider, or\nemergency medical services training program or an employee or volunteer thereof,\nwritten notice of the complaint or proposed action shall be sent to:\n(a) The county judge/executive, in the event of a county -operated ambulance\nservice, emergency medical services provider, or training program;\n(b) The mayor, in the event of a city -operated ambulance service, emergency\nmedical services provider, or training program;\n(c) The mayor, in the event of an urban -county government-operated ambulance\nservice, emergency medical services provider, or training program;\n(d) The chairman of the fire protection district, in the event of a fire district -\noperated ambulance service, emergency medical services provider, or trainin g\nprogram;\n(e) The head of the public agency, in the event of an ambulance service,\nemergency medical services provider, or training program operated by a\npublic agency other than specified in paragraphs (a) to (d) of this subsection;\n(f) The president, ch ancellor, or other officer in charge of an educational\ninstitution operated, in the event of an ambulance service or training program;\n(g) The chief operating officer or president of a nonprofit corporation,\ncorporation for profit, limited liability compan y, or other business entity, in\nthe event of an ambulance service, emergency medical services provider, or\ntraining program operated by the business entity; and\n(h) Both the ambulance service, emergency medical services provider, or training\nprogram officials specified in this subsection and the officials of any public\nagency contracting for services.\n(2) The notice specified in this section shall be in addition to any notice provided to\nany other person or organization.","path":["KRS Chapter 311A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57606","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:08Z","sha256":"4e315be5b4489894aca7521a4b8b21e855ac03a04dddab5b01d908c05881eb1c","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311a.065","next":"us-ky/krs-311a.075"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
