The\nadministrative regulations may include the classification and licensure of\nparamedics, instructor-trainers, instructors, and students and trainees; examinations;\nstandards of  training and experience; curricula standards; administration of drugs\nand controlled substances by paramedics under the direction or supervision of\nlicensed physicians; issuance and renewal of licenses; and such other administrative\nregulations as may be necessary for the protection of public health and safety in the\ndelivery of emergency medical services.\n(2) Relicensure programs shall be organized to include continuing education and in -\nservice training approved by the board.","path":["KRS Chapter 311A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30744","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:08Z","sha256":"cecfe40a0842e132a2b462297c3f6490f5d15d737014987a4c88f4a101404111","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311a.130","next":"us-ky/krs-311a.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
