The board alone shall have this authority;\n(2) Promulgate administrative regulations to administer and enforce this chapter;\n(3) Issue and renew the licenses of duly qualified applicants, following procedures\nestablished by the board through the promulgation of administrative regulations;\n(4) Determine and enforce continuing education requirements and establish guidelines\nfor approval of continuing education;\n(5) Approve accredited educational programs of imaging or radi ation therapy and\nmonitor compliance with the educational standards established by the individual\ndisciplines, as recognized by the board;\n(6) Designate funds for scholarships, program development, or continued education;\n(7) Investigate suspected or alleg ed violations of this chapter, conduct hearings and\nrecord minutes, resolve the allegations, and, if appropriate, impose sanctions or\npenalties; and\n(8) Submit an annual report to the Governor and the Legislative Research Commission\nthat provides informati on concerning the board's work regarding licensure of\nprofessionals under this chapter and that lists all hearings conducted by the board\nand the decisions rendered.","path":["KRS Chapter 311B"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40199","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:08Z","sha256":"9c538ce2e539e0e576867f4637570a9cdc2abf613535c4529441dac267a5c647","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-311b.040","next":"us-ky/krs-311b.060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
