{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-314.035","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 314.035","heading":"Unlawful acts relating to dialysis care.","body":"(1) It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a nurse, a physician assistant, or a\nphysician, to provide dialysis care in a licensed renal dialysis facility unless that\nperson holds a current active credential from the board to practice as a dialysis\ntechnician.\n(2) It shall be unlawful for any person to practice as a dialysis technician who is listed\non the nurse aide abuse registry with a substantiated finding of abuse, neglect, or\nmisappropriation of property.\n(3) It shall be unlawful for any dialysis technician, employer of dialysis technicians, or\nany person having knowledge of the facts to refrain from reporting to the board a\ndialysis technician who is suspected of having violated any provision of this chapter\nor any administrative regulation promulgated by the board.","path":["KRS Chapter 314"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48248","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:10Z","sha256":"f20f72527cc5b62c1ab46715d9fb5d6aad7122d7ffcd6a9ccdc92617cce85720","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-314.031","next":"us-ky/krs-314.037"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
