{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-314.077","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 314.077","heading":"Suspension of nurse's license for violation of KRS 15.802 -- Hearing and","body":"reinstatement.\n(1) Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, upon receipt of a notice from\nthe Office of the Attorney General that a nurse is in vi olation of KRS 15.802, the\nboard shall issue an order suspending the nurse's license. If the individual is an\napplicant for licensure, the board shall issue a denial of licensure. The order shall\nconstitute disciplinary action against the nurse or individual.\n(2) Suspension of a license or denial of licensure under subsection (1) of this section\nshall continue until the Office of the Attorney General notifies the board that the\nnurse or individual is no longer in violation of KRS 15.802.\n(3) A nurse shall n ot be entitled to a hearing before the board on a suspension of a\nlicense in child support cases administered by the Office of the Attorney General in\naccordance with 42 U.S.C. sec. 651 et seq.\n(4) To reinstate a license suspended under this section, a nur se shall comply with all\nreinstatement requirements.","path":["KRS Chapter 314"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=54406","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:10Z","sha256":"02a7a8f03eb1b735de6f70b57a85558230e5068f97d70e6e5267782d55eb1ccf","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-314.075","next":"us-ky/krs-314.080"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
