{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-314a.205","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 314A.205","heading":"Powers and duties of board.","body":"(1) The board shall administer, coordinate, and enforce the provisions of this chapter,\nevaluate the qualifications of applicants, and may issue subpoenas, examine\nwitnesses, and administer oaths, and shall investigate persons engaging in practices\nwhich violate the provisions of this chapter.\n(2) The board shall conduct hearings in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B and keep\nrecords and minutes as shall be necessary to an orderly dispatch of business.\n(3) The board shall promulgate administrative regulations to c arry out the provisions of\nthis chapter.\n(4) Every person who holds a mandatory certificate to practice respiratory care in this\nstate shall be governed and controlled by the rules of professional conduct\npromulgated by the board.\n(5) The enumeration of specific powers elsewhere in this chapter shall not be construed\nas a limitation of the general powers conferred by this section.\n(6) The board shall fix appropriate and reasonable fees for mandatory certification, and\nshall periodically review and modify these fees as necessary.","path":["KRS Chapter 314A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=30980","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:11Z","sha256":"8d52ee909301c6b9c3338d1059254f7f849969471f4ed6984316405fea82287a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-314a.200","next":"us-ky/krs-314a.210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
