{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-315.230","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 315.230","heading":"Restraint of violations -- Legal representation.","body":"(1) Notwithstanding the existence or pursuit of any other remedy (civil or criminal) the\nboard is hereby authorized to institute and maintain actions to restrain and enjoin\nany violation of this chapter, or the rules and regulations of the board.\n(2) City, county and Commonwealth's attorneys, and the Attorney General, shall within\ntheir respective jurisdictions represent the board, its officers, agents, and inspectors,\nin the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter, and the rules and regulations of\nthe board, but when the board deems it necessary, it may employ at its discretion,\nspecial attorneys to assist the board, or its officers, agents, or inspectors, and may\npay reasonable compensation, fees and other costs from any unexpended funds.","path":["KRS Chapter 315"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31034","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:12Z","sha256":"a40a67903c00e999717377bddfe9a2ec0871e60b3d8b4c15b4bfaaca45a82771","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-315.220","next":"us-ky/krs-315.235"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
