{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-315.235","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 315.235","heading":"Attorney General's jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute violators of","body":"pharmacy laws.\n(1) The Attorney General has concurrent jurisdiction with the Commonwealth's\nattorneys of this state for the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter.\n(2) The Attorney General may investigate and prosecute a practitioner or any other\nperson who violates the provisions of:\n(a) This chapter; and\n(b) Any other statute if the violation is committed by the practitioner or person in\nthe course of committing a violat ion described in paragraph (a) of this\nsubsection.\n(3) When acting pursuant to this section, the Attorney General may commence his\ninvestigation and file a criminal action without leave of court, and the Attorney\nGeneral has exclusive charge of the conduct of the prosecution.","path":["KRS Chapter 315"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31035","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:12Z","sha256":"ead12f90dbd214602d7c7492fb9b86d04a1a4996b04af65ac8b63abf68f24af3","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-315.230","next":"us-ky/krs-315.295"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
