{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-315.335","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 315.335","heading":"Reporting of robbery, theft, or missing shipment of controlled substances.","body":"(1) A pharmacy located in Kentucky which has a robbery or theft of a controlled\nsubstance shall immediately following the robbery or discovery of the theft report\nthe incident to a law enforcement agency serving the geographic area in which the\npharmacy is located.\n(2) A pharmacy which has mailed or shipped a controlled substance to a location in\nKentucky and learns that the mailing or shipment did not arrive shall within three\n(3) business days report that nonreceipt to:\n(a) The Department of Kentucky State Police; and\n(b) If applicable, the United States Postal Inspection Service.\n(3) (a) The reports required pursuant to subsections (1) and (2) of this section shall\ncontain at a minimum, if known and applicable:\n1. The name, National Drug Code, and quantit y of each controlled\nsubstance involved;\n2. A description of the circumstances of the loss;\n3. The names and contact information of any witnesses; and\n4. The name and description of any person suspected of committing the\noffense or causing the loss.\n(b) The Board of Pharmacy may by administrative regulation authorize a\npharmacy to submit a completed DEA 106 form or a successor form in lieu of\nthe data elements required by this subsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 315"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41653","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:12Z","sha256":"4f9b807926ae8b07b114a9b93ca283049400c3874bb1218592b5d5cc6a11dc8b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-315.330","next":"us-ky/krs-315.340"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
