{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-315.406","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 315.406","heading":"Prescription drug pedigree for drugs leaving normal distribution channel -","body":"- Administrative regulations.\n(1) (a) As of the date specified by an administrative regulation promulgated by the\nboard pursuant to KRS Chapter 13A, each person or entity engage d in the\nwholesale distribution of prescription drugs that leave or that have ever left\nthe normal distribution channel shall, prior to the distribution of the\nprescription drug, provide a pedigree to the person receiving the prescription\ndrug.\n(b) A retail pharmacy or a pharmacy warehouse shall comply with paragraph (a)\nof this subsection only if it engages in wholesale distribution of prescription\ndrugs.\n(2) The board shall specify the requirements for the contents and maintenance of a\npedigree that are consistent with the federal requirements.\n(3) The board shall promulgate an administrative regulation pursuant to KRS Chapter\n13A to implement the provisions of this section no later than one hundred eighty\n(180) days after July 15, 2008.","path":["KRS Chapter 315"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=31045","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:58:12Z","sha256":"dfaaa36d6333f3397417174dd2ac2653d3b677a068dce83320c29ab2503c4af0","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-315.404","next":"us-ky/krs-315.408"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
